Lakefront properties can offer unique challenges and design possibilities at the same time. This site did not disappoint. With the patio and fire pit close to the lake and a high water table, extra patio basing and fabrics were required. Getting down to patio and holding a steeper slope in place also made this a unique undertaking. Complementing the construction details, the horticulturally minded owners requested a colorful and natural mix of perennials, grasses, shrubs and trees. The different elements came together in this striking landscape.
